My Grand Baby Fair Year 7 Experience
I got invited to the Grand Baby Fair Year 7, and I was sooooo excited! Ah I love baby/children fairs! Been in love with it since I had my little girl! Who doesn't love those tiny shoes, little shirts, and toys?! Right?

I can't tell what's the difference from last year and the previous years since I haven't been to any of the Grand Baby Fair but I can say that the event is organized well. It may seem like a clutter because there are a lot of people, but it's just because there are actually a LOT of people! You can't move much. But even though there are a lot of people, and the line is looonngg, and I mean the line is LONG, I didn't feel like we're there for a lot of time, I think that we're actually fast given how long the line was. I even thought that while I'm in line I could look some more through the booths, but that apparently didn't happen. And in fairness, the cashiers were really fast ah, and the staff is really helpful, one lady staff even picked up my basket for me. I think she thinks I'm pregnant though. :( HAHAHA And they're always smiling even if they're super busy. And if you get thorsty, there are water dispensers all over the venue! Two thumbs up for this one! :)

Now let me share with you some tips that I think would help you if you're going to Grand Baby Fair or to any fairs/bazaars...

Go early as much as possible so there wouldn't be a lot of people yet.
(but if y'all are going early, well, that's a problem. lol)
It's better to not bring your child, because there would be a lot of people, and siksikan and you might not notice your child that much.
But if you're bringing your child, bring someone with you.
Bring a bag that's easy to carry and that you could see, more likely a sling bag. And don't bring much.
Bring your Mom Card with you, because if you reach a single receipt of P5,000.00, you could bring home these:

Wow! Missed going sa mga events pero wala talaga akong time. All good stuff! Jami's too big na pero I still remember the joy of buying those baby bottles pa haha!

DeleteI remember going to baby fairs when I was pregnant and buying tons of stuff. I miss those times but I still find it fun to go to baby fairs since my 2 cousins just gave birth almost at the same time recently. Excited to buy stuff for my new niece and nephew. :)

ReplyDeleteExpos and fairs such as Grand Baby Fair are very informative and exciting. Bad thing I am not expecting a baby (but hoping pa-haha) and the kids are no longer babies :(.

ReplyDeleteOh, I missed this! Honestly, tinatamad kasi ako magshopping for my second baby. Most of the items kasi na nabili namin during my first pregnancy, hindi rin naman talaga namin nagamit. Parang purchased out of excitement lang. But the Looney Tunes Breast Pump during the expo is a great deal especially for the working, breastfeeding or pumping moms! :D
ReplyDeleteYep, SALE enticed us to buy knowing we save and found a good deal. I haven't tried going to baby expo, but I always look around when there's something on the mall's center aisle, hoping to found discounted items.

ReplyDeleteWould live to be in a fair like this. Pero dapat talaga busog ang bulsa. Hahaha kase for sure mapapabili ka talaga. I don't like to go there if I don't have the intention of buying. Haha pag window shopping lang mahirap kase ang daming mura at magagandang items talaga. :)
ReplyDeleteI always attend baby fairs when my son was still a baby :) it's fun to see new stuff din kasi. Mas hiyang ako sa electric pump kesa manual when I was breastfeeding kasi pag manual walang lumalabas (I don't know why).

ReplyDeleteI checked them out this year and got reminded that I hate large crowds. LOL! I agree with your tips. Another thing to add would be to have a list of what's needed before going to make it easier to shop. :)
ReplyDeleteBaby Belo's starting to become one of the biggest baby brands! I love their products, though I'm jealous that we don't get to have Grand Baby Fairs here in Davao haha!

ReplyDeleteThis would have been really helpful had this happened when I was still pregnant with my twins. Hehehe. But oh well. Mothers these days are lucky to have fairs like this. Can you imagine all the work our grandmothers and their women ancestors had to do when they become mothers themselves?

ReplyDeleteLove baby fairs as well. I just do not enjoy the long lines on the cashier and the crowd. But I guess that makes the fair more exciting. The long lines and the crowd. Went there on the preview on a Thursday. Less crowd but the excitement was still there.
