Food Review: Kan Zhu Hand-Pulled Noodles, SM Hypermarket Pasig City

A couple of months ago, yes months, we had our little munchkin's check up while my MIL went grocery shopping. We met up with her after Maco's check up. I personally love the SM Hypermarket at Pasig, the one right across Tiendesitas! Just because their supermarket have clothing inside, and even furniture.

So after she was done grocery shopping, we ate at Kan Zhu. I thought it was the same with Zhu Kitchen, but apparently it wasn't.

I personally liked their interiors. Simple and clean.

Braised Beef Dry Noodles | P 195.00
I went to the safe side, and ordered this as it has the chef recommendation
It's noodles and beef were really soft and tender. And the sauce was really savory.

Mixed Seafood Noodle Soup | P 180.00

This was my husband's order. He didn't like it that much. As what my husband told me, he didn't like it because the seafood weren't fresh. The soup was nice, it was just the seafood.

Forgot what it's called :(
This was new to their menu and it was my MIL's order. She didn't like it as much as well. I tasted a little of it, I think it was good but not as good as my order. Hehe! This tasted like Carbonara. It was really creamy, I think that's the reason why my MIL didn't like it as much.

Shrimp Mousse Spring Rolls | P 120.00
We ordered this for Maco. I don't think she liked it hehe. It was like lumpia but with shrimp inside so the texture was really soft. The dip was spicy though!

Sharksfin Dumplings | P 95.00
Nothing special with their Sharksfin dumplings. It was like the other sharksfin dumplings we tasted, but not in a bad way. It was good.
Sesame Butchi | P 80.00
Their butchi was also like the other butchi we've had. Not bad.

The food in Kan Zhu were good and affordable. Though I suggest to order the ones with the chef recommendation label if you'd eat here, just so you would enjoy it!
